bridges are a 5 piece rock band from all over South Wales. After being
in various bands in the local music scene over the past few years, the
boys decided to come together to form bridges. The line up of Ross,
Grant, Alyn, Liam, and Dom was eventually finalised in February 2012.
When the boys wrote their first song, it seemed that they were heading down the pop-punk route. But as they wrote more songs,
it became clear that the first song they wrote didn't really fit in to
the avenue that they were looking to head down. The songs that followed
were a lot heavier and darker than that original song. All of the boys
felt comfortable that was the best direction for the band to head in.
When you hear a bridges track, you'll immediately notice their
infectious melodies, driving riffs and meaningful vocal pieces that will
stick in your head
The band is currently in the middle of
writing and recording their debut E.P with Todd Campbell of Straight
Lines, which is estimated to be released in late 2012.
